Standard delivery takes 3 to 5 business days to metro cities and 5 to 7 business days to regional locations. This is almost always caused by two factors: insufficient sunlight or too much nitrogen fertilizer. Bougainvilleas need at least 5 to 6 hours of direct sun daily. Also, stop using general fertilizers and switch to a high-phosphorus, high-potassium bloom booster. You can also try withholding water slightly until the leaves droop, which signals the plant to start blooming.

Bougainvillea is not an indoor plant. It requires direct sunlight to survive and bloom. However, you can keep compact dwarf varieties or trained bonsai specimens indoors temporarily (for 2 to 3 days) for display, provided they are returned to a sunny balcony or window sill immediately after.
